Cary  D.  Miller from Lowell  IN , took a Massive 11 pointer with Rusty of J & R Guide Service . 21"   inside spread with a rough score of 160+ .

Cary Miller from Crown Point IN , bagged a 162 lb. Doe Monday Evening with J & R . Cary used his Remington 870 to do the job on this winters meat .

Harley Pruett bagged a 186 lb. 9 point Buck with Rusty of J & R . Harley took his Buck at 82 yards with an 12 Guage Ethica Deerslayer Shotgun using Lightfield slugs .

A.  J.  Wessell took a nice 10 point Buck with Rusty of J & R Guide Service on the evening of Nov. 14th with his PSE Bow  in Lawrence County .

Bill , George and Ray from Lexington and Madison IN , joined Rusty of J & R for some good old Rabbit hunting on 11/13/08 . 8   Bunnies were harvested and some good times were enjoyed .

Stacey Stanley took a nice 224 lb. 10pt. Buck with J & R Guide Service on Thursday evening . Rough score is 147 . Stacey and Hilton Wiggins from Georgia as been hunting 4 days with over 60 + Deer sightings from their stands. Several nice Bucks were seen .

Joe Evans shows off a good Monroe Wiper that he took on a Rattle Trap in a Bay on the Main Lake . He caught several others in 5 - 10 feet of water .

We were checking on one of our Prime Private Grounds that we are starting to hunt Monday morning with some Clients from Georgia and found 33 Fresh New Scraps and I mean SMOKE`IN  HOT !!!!!!!!!!  The Rut as really took off in the past two days. Good Luck .

Rick & Junie Ruff from New Albany IN area , got into the boat with Rusty of J & R Guide Service on Thurs. afternoon and soon felt the power of Monroe Wipers on the Feed . Bait - Lead Heads and Minnows . Total 6 Wipers kept over 17" , ( there were three in the boat ) , 2 under 17" , and 3 over 17"ers released , 4 broke off or pulled out . 12 Crappie and  12 Yellow Bass . Water Depth , 15 - 20 feet . Wipers are stocking up for winter .

James Taylor of Bedford IN , Smoked three Patoka Bunnies on Monday Morning with his trusty 20 GA. with Rusty of J & R , Black Jack , Hilda , Topper , Caile , and Mormon the wonder Beagles .  8 Rabbits were jumped and runned .  5 were holed . Alot of good Beagle Music after a smart old  Hare  is most of the fun .   

Jon Clark and Jeffery Thomas from Anderson IN , tangled with some mean Monroe Stripers ( pitcured ) , on Saturday morning with Rusty of J & R Guide Service . Also caught were 15 Crappie , 12 Yellow Bass and a few Bluegill . The cold wind cut the trip short a little but still a good day . Bait - Lead Head Jigs and Minnows . Surface temp. 61 degrees .

Scott and Max Jenner from Madison IN joined Rusty of J & R Guide Service , Thur. afternoon on Monroe and found the Crappie , Yellow Bass and Wiper fishing to be red hot . 16 Crappie , 35 nice Yellow Bass and 5 Wipers total for 3.5 hours of fishing . 4 or 5 more Wipers broke off at the Boat . A little to much for Crappie gear I guess . Bait Jig Heads and Minnows in 15 - 20 feet of water .

Bryan Brooks from Nashville Tenn., Thad Brooks and Joel Brooks which took  Big Crappie honors , from Evansville , and Michael Mayo from Dallas TX , switched to Monroe Reservoir for their second day of fishing with Rusty and Tom of J & R Guide Service . 60 Crappie , 1 Wiper , 20 Bluegill and a 15 " Bass . Several undersize Bass and Warmouths were also caught. All fish were released to enjoy another day . Lead Head and Minnows fished over deep  brush piles  .

Bryan , Joel and Thad  Brooks , along with Michael Mayo , Took on the tough fishing conditions at Patoka Lake on Monday morning with Rusty and Tom of J & R Guide Service  . 24 Crappie , 6 - 13" Stripers , 1 catfish , 4 undersize Bass , and a few Bluegill still made for a fun day out on the Lake . Bait - Minnows and Southern Pro lead heads and Hot Grubs . Surface temp. 64 degrees.

J & R Guides Joe , Phil , Tom & Rusty , guided the Fri - to - Lay company on Patoka Lake on Wed. for a lake tour and fishing . 26 clients caught  150 + Bluegills , Crappie and a catfish or two . All went well with great support from Patoka Marine working with J & R to make this another great outing on Patoka Lake for the Fri - to - lay Company . Fish were caught on Crickets and Minnows in 27 feet of water . All fish were released to fight another day .

Scott Ramponan from New Palestine IN and Travis Kost from Carmel IN , hooked up with Rusty of J & R Guide Service on Sat. morning 10/11/08 and caught 6 Wipers , 31 Crappie , some Warmouths , 6 Bass . Bait  - Grizzly Jigs and Minnows , Southern Pro lead heads and Hot Grubs . Fish were caught on the main lake in 7 - 12 feet of water . Surface temp. 70 degrees .

Dave Lemons of Bedford IN. caught his limit of Monroe Crappie during the recent cold front with Phil Bartlet of J & R Guide Service . Bait  - Tube Jigs fished close to wood . Fish were caught on the main lake .

Lynn Scofield from Michigan and Jan Schroeber from Germany battled the cold front on Monroe Wed. Morning for 4 hrs. with Rusty of J & R Guide Service and caught 29 Crappie . Bait - Southern Pro Jigs and Tubes , Grizzly Jigs and Minnows . Fish were caught in 12 feet of water on the Main Lake .

 Chad Lawson and Danny Wright took 46 Patoka Crappie with Rusty of J & R Guide Service on Tuesday . Bait - Roadrunners and Southern Pro Jigs , Grizzly Jigs and Minnows . Fish were caught on the Main Lake near the Dam .

Mark & Adam Jackson from Cincinati , show off a few of their limit of 50 Crappie , 1 Channel Cat , 8 Bluegill , that they caught with Rusty of J & R Guide Service on Sat. morning . Bait - Roadrunners with Southern Pro Tubes , Crappie ranged from 10 " to 15 3/4 inches . Surface temp. showed 74 degrees . Fish were caught in 4 - 6 feet of water .

Rusty Cooper and daughters from Dallas Texas joined Phil Bartlet of J & R Guide Service for a few  hours on Saturday morning to tangle with some  mean Monroe Crappie . 13 nice Crappie were enticed with Minnows .

 JT , age 6 , took advantage of the wet  woods after Friday`s rain and knocked out 2 Greys and a Fox Squirrel with the help of Papap of J & R Guide Service on Sat. morning . Hickory Nuts seems to be the prefered  food for now

Goose from Patoka took the limit of Indiana Squirrels with Joe of J & R Guide Service on Monday Morning 9/8/08 .  Bet you didn`t know anyone guided for Squirrels , did you .

Tim and Dan from Muncie IN , Show off some of their catch , 26 Crappie - 11 Bluegill - 2 smallmouths and 3 largemouths that they caught with Rusty of J & R Guide Service on Patoka Lake Sat. morning 9/6/08 . Bait - Roadrunners , Southern Pro Jigs and Fish - n - Spinns . Surface temp 79 degrees . Crappie were caught in 5 - 7 feet of water .
 

Arthur from Orleans displays part of his catch of 8 Largemouth Bass and 4 Crappie that he took with Rusty of J & R Guide Service on Thursday 9/4/08 on Patoka Lake .  Baits , Spinner Baits - Hard Jerk Baits and crankbaits . Water temp. is 81 degrees . All but one Bass were released to fight another day .
 

Arthur Collier from Orleans spent his Birthday catching Monroe Crappie with Rusty of J & R Guide Service . 48 Crappie , 6 Yellow Bass and 5 Bluegill should make for a Birthday Fish Fry . Bait - Grizzly Jigs & Minnows ,  Southern Pro Jigs and Hot Grubs . Fish were caught on the main lake .

Patrick Colins of Kokamo IN .  caught 5 keeper Bass with Joe of J & R Guide Service on 8/25/08 . Largest fish went 4 lbs.     Bait 7" Power Worms . Six smaller Bass were also caught . All fish were released .

Grandpa Tom and Carlos along with Rusty of J & R Guide Service , caught 34 Crappie , 8 Bluegill and two Largemouth Bass on Wed. morning at Monroe Res. bait - Grizzly Jigs and Minnows in 12 feet of water on the main lake . Crappie averaged  8 - 10 inches .

Also caught were 12 nice Bluegill , 1 smallmouth , 1 largemouth and 1 Wiper . Bait - Grizzly Jigs with Minnows and Fish - N - Spins . Fish were caught in 12 feet of water on the main lake targeting stickups . Total time fished , 3.5 hours  .

Adam and George Comptom , Les Meyers and Dave Durbin joined Joe & Rusty of J & R  on Sat. morning for some Patoka Bluegill Fishing . They keep 64 Gills and released several smaller fish . Bait crickets and Fish - N - Spins .

David Gilbert from Michigan caught 8 Largemouth Bass on the 6th and 9 Largemouth Bass on the 7th with Rusty of  J & R  ,  ripping Rouges and Rapalas over Monroe weedy flats . Jointed minnows seamed to work better than the straight ones . We tried Flukes with some success but the hard baits seamed a little better . All fish were released to fight another day .

Mark Riggins joined Joe of J & R on Wed. morning to catch 60 Bluegill and two White Bass , and some small catfish on the Main Lake at  Patoka . Bait Crickets .

Jason Fisher and friend Joe joined Joe of J & R on Patoka Lake Tuesday morning and took 31 Bluegill , 2 Whitebass and a Channel Catfish in about a three hour period . Bad weather cut the outing a little short . .Bait - Crickets and Roostertails .

Mike , Wayne , Rick and Jimmy from Shephardsville KY caught 93 Crappie and one Channel Cat with Rusty of J & R Guide Service on Monday 7/21/08 . Bait - Minnows and Grizzly Jigs in Chartreus , 1/32 oz. Fish were caught on the main lake .

Rick Keeton and Wife from Avon IN. display some nice Channel Cats that they caught  with Joe of J & R Guide Service on Patoka Lake on 7/20/08 . Largest Cat went 7.3 lbs. The Keetons also caught 32 Bluegills . Bait - Crickets .

Kathy and JR Sons of Bedford IN , caught 125+ Crappie on Monroe Reservoir Wed. afternoon with Rusty of J & R Guide Service . 72 went home for the fry and the rest were released . Most were skillet fryers . Bait - minnows around 12 - 18 feet of water on the main lake .

Jim Taylor from Bedford IN caught 150+ Crappie Tuesday morning on Monroe with Rusty of J & R Guide Service .
50 went to the freezer and the rest were released . Fish were caught on Grizzly Jigs and minnows at 18 feet on the main lake. No real slabs were caught but good size for the skillet .
 

Bob Cochran from Lou. and Rick Cochran from Muncie , caught 75 Crappie , 12 Yellow Bass , 10 Bluegill and 7 Channel Cats on Friday morning with Rusty of J & R Guide Service on Monroe Reservoir on the Main Lake . Bait - Minnows and Southern Pro Jigs .

JT and Pappap are still chasing Monroe whiskers around. These 4 Cats went 46lbs  .  Caught on 7/10/08 .  Bait - Sunfish . The bite has seemed to change from daytime to mostly after dark .  

Butch from Florida and Art from Indy caught 43 Bluegill and 7 Catfish with Joe of J & R Guide Service on 7/10/08 . Fish were caught on the Main Lake on Crickets . Catfish were 2 - 5 lb. Several smaller fish were released .

Paul Meyer and Rusty of J & R took First Place with 28lbs. during the Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club`s  Summer Catfish Fishing Tournament on 7/5/08 . The Tournament was held on the White River  east of Bedford IN.  Channels were caught on Shad Guts and Cut Bait  , fishing Drifts .

Rex and Tanner Smith took 2nd place with 25lbs. and took Big Cat honors during the Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club summer Catfish Tournament . Tanner is holding up two of his Flathead Catfish that he caught during the Tournament . Largest Flathead went 12.6 lbs.
